i will reblog this as many times as it takes me to stop finding this funny
This woman deserves a round of applause and a throne of gold. This is the most realistic & amazing thing for someone to say for this generation of students. I wasn’t able to go to college this year because my parents can’t afford to send me and I had every scholarship, grant, loan known to man and it still wouldn’t work. Finally someone gets it!
The government has no money. The government is broke. So teenagers should foot the billfaithhealthlife?
Going to college is a privilege in America.
Access to college is a right. The states are too broke. Putting more funding into colleges would mean making cuts from other programs like Medicare/Medicaid.
No one said it was fair. It is what it is.
College isn’t a privilege anymore. It’s a necessity to obtain a job that’s anything more than minimum wage.
Just because companies have inflated their standards from requiring only a HS Diploma for their entry level position to requiring a Bachelors degree for their entry level position doesn’t mean that a Bachelors degree is a fundamental human right.
Well if companies REQUIRE a bachelor’s degree, then they should have a part in paying for the training of their future employees.Should scientists have to pay for their own research too?
You pay for an education to qualify for better jobs. People don’t just pay you to qualify for their jobs.
